The Children’s Group is made up of kids aged between 5 and 15 years old.

Following the footsteps of the adult group, it attempts to bring the young generations close to the folk customs of our land. And specifically for this reason it has undertaken an activity of research to discover forms of traditions different from dancing such as song and dialect, both in poetry and prose, to present during performances.

The repertoire is based on typical dances like “Piruli’”, “Ballo in Dodici”, “Vendemmia” which highlight the main aspects of rural life.

But it is certainly “Saltarello” which prevails over them: even if performed with easier steps than the adult version,  the “Saltarello” always evokes admiration and tenderness in the audience.

Every year the Children’s Group takes part in National and International Festivals dedicated to the little dancers obtaining more and more success and appreciation not only for the stage performances but also for the research carried out on the relevant Festival theme topics.
