During the first week of August the Association organizes the International Festival of Folkore entitled “Etnie a Confronto”, now at its 16^th edition, where 8 Folk groups coming from the 5 continents take part.

Charming the public with music, songs and dances typical of their countries, in Matelica they re-create the atmosphere of sounds and colours belonging to far-off lands.

This week of joyful life in common, among youth with different traditions and cultures coming from all around the world, is a good opportunity to show that folklore can give concrete form to values like friendship, brotherhood and peace.

Every year the Association takes part in several events and in the most important Festivals of Folklore, both in Italy and abroad, presenting over the years its show in almost all the European countries.
